Helping Alpine Residents Affected by the West Fire

The West Fire had a significant impact on the Alpine community over the past few days. With 34 homes destroyed, and the impacts of a prolonged power outage, many residents are in need of food and water – both immediately and as the long road to recovery takes place. We hosted an emergency food distribution on Tuesday in Alpine, but know the need will be great in the area for quite some time.

If someone you know has been affected by the West Fire and needs food assistance, please let them know we are here to help.

Feeding San Diego held a special food distribution on Wednesday, July 18, at 9:30 am at the First Baptist Church in Alpine.

Additional food distributions in Alpine and surrounding communities can be found by calling our office at 858-452-3663 or visiting our “Need Help” page.

If you would like help provide even more healthy food and water to our neighbors in Alpine, and help us be able to respond quickly in all times of need, please give what you can. Every $10 donated provides 40 meals for San Diegans facing hunger. Thank you for helping our neighbors recover and rebuild following the West Fire.
