Feeding San Diego holds large scale emergency food distribution today at Legoland® California Resort as increased need for food assistance continues
FEEDING SAN DIEGO HOLDS LARGE SCALE EMERGENCY FOOD DISTRIBUTION TODAY AT LEGOLAND® CALIFORNIA RESORT AS INCREASED NEED FOR FOOD ASSISTANCE CONTINUES
SAN DIEGO (March 3, 2021) — Today, Feeding San Diego, the county’s leading hunger relief and food rescue organization, will hold a large-scale emergency drive-through food distribution at LEGOLAND® California Resort. The distribution will serve an estimated 800 North County households facing hunger. From 12 to 2 PM, anyone in need of food assistance can drive through to receive 50 pounds of nutritious food, including produce, shelf stable items, and a frozen meat protein.
What: Drive-through distribution where volunteers place food directly in the trunk, always keeping six feet of distance. All attendees are asked to wear a mask. Attendees must register via the link here: https://feedingsandiego.app.rsvpify.com/.
When: Today, Wednesday, March 3, at 12 – 2 PM. 800 plus households will be served.**
