Volunteer of the Month: Alessandro Costa
Alessandro recently moved to San Diego and in the past 6 months alone, he has already volunteered more than 100 hours at Feeding San Diego. As a Data Expert Volunteer with a background in Industrial Engineering, Alessandro helps enter and analyze data in Excel, create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and is always looking for ways to help optimize processes and promote continuous improvement.
Alessandro is highly self-motivated and his innovations have been a huge help to the Programs and Food Sourcing Teams. Because Alessandro is so friendly and approachable, he has become the go-to person for various statistical questions and we are always happy to see him come in for a volunteer shift. Thank you Alessandro for all your support and hard work in the fight against hunger!
