Volunteer of the Month: Nancy Kane

Nancy has been volunteering with Feeding San Diego since November of 2012 and has donated more than 674 hours. Nancy is a jack of all trades! As a Team Leader, She not only helps to lead projects and answer questions from new volunteers, but she also teaches new Team Leaders to do the same. In addition, Nancy assits off-site distributions when volunteers are needed.

Nancy is also on Feeding San Diego’s Food Safety Team. As a volunteer on the Food Safety Team, Nancy gives valuable feedback and provides FSD with a volunteer point of view. She is enthusiastic and welcoming to all volunteers and willing to help with any project in the distribution center, no matter how dirty the task may be. Thank you Nancy for your support and dedication to helping fight hunger.
