Feeding San Diego is proud to announce its partnership with Souplantation and Garden Fresh Restaurants as the company launches its Better Neighbor Project.

Garden Fresh Restaurants, the national company headquartered in San Diego that owns Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes restaurants, wants to make a difference for people in their communities locally and make a bigger impact nationally.

Many people go hungry every night, and it’s not in some far off land. It’s right here, in our own neighborhoods. Garden Fresh wants to help everyone find a way to be better neighbors to each other, so they launched the Better Neighbor Project, a new partnership between Souplantation and Feeding America where you can help feed your neighbors.*

From August 30 through October 31, Souplantation cashiers will ask diners if they would like to support Feeding San Diego. Your donation will make a tremendous impact for neighbors who need our help.*

“Supporting the 97 cities we are part of has always been important to us. We have selected a truly great partner in Feeding San Diego and Feeding America,” said Corry Reid, VP of Marketing at Garden Fresh Restaurants. “Families are such an important part of Souplantation and Garden Fresh’s business. Together we can make a real difference in the lives of food-insecure families not just here in San Diego, but across the United States.”

“We are honored to be partnering with Souplantation and Garden Fresh Restaurants as we continue to provide 24 million meals each year to the community,” said Vince Hall, CEO of Feeding San Diego. “Generous community support makes Feeding San Diego’s mission possible – and that includes every person who joins the Good Neighbor Project.”
