Volunteer of the Month

VOM MonthJ.J. Emerick and Taylor Warfield first visited Feeding San Diego during a leadership information session in June 2015. Right from the start, they were fiercely passionate around taking action in fighting hunger and learning how they could help. Since then, they have donated more than 60 volunteer hours as Team Leaders. Their ability to bring laughter and joy into every project they lead helps us provide enjoyable volunteer experiences every week. During their time as volunteers, they have helped pack, sort and prepare the equivalent of more than 14,000 meals for families struggling with hunger. They are helping Feeding San Diego end hunger one volunteer shift at a time.
