Holiday Break Distributions Provide 29,750 Meals

In the month of December, the Feeding Kids Team worked with eight school partners to open their doors during winter vacation to provide a distribution to families in their communities.

While schools are typically closed during the latter half of December for winter break, these schools worked with Feeding San Diego, their administration, teachers and volunteers, to open their doors during this time.  As a result, FSD provided an additional 35,700 pounds, the equivalent of 29,750 meals to our neighbors in need.
