Here at Feeding San Diego, we know how busy this time of year can be. If you’re anything like our team, you have a lot on your plate right now. So, we have decided to make this post about donating as simple as possible. Here are the top three reasons to make an end-of-year donation to Feeding San Diego.

Reason # 1: It’s tax deductible.

Feeding San Diego is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. That means your gift may be tax-deductible! If you donate by December 31st, your donation may be deductible from your 2022 taxes. In addition, you can make a tax-savvy donation by contributing appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds. Through the end of the year, Feeding San Diego’s board of directors is matching donations up to $317,000. This generous match means every dollar you donate DOUBLES to help provide four meals to the community. But it only lasts until the ball drops, so act now to make your donation go twice as far.

Reason #3: Making an end-of-year donation is easy!

It’s true! We offer a range of ways to donate, so you can choose the one that works best for you.
