Every dollar you donate to Feeding San Diego helps provide two meals to San Diegans facing food insecurity. Our efficient model moves beyond a traditional food bank system to make your donation go even further in the community. By making a gift, you offer hope to children, seniors, families, and veterans.
There’s a lot of people like me, they need food, they need to eat, they have kids.
“I’m a single mom. I’m not working because one of my sons, he’s diabetic, type one. So, it’s very difficult for me to get food. And this is a good resource to get it. And I can feed my son and my daughter. And they can come to school and learn and stay more active with the resources. I feel very comfortable, happy, and I don’t have words to describe how I’m feeling because I think we have more resources than other places at school. It’s easy to come, pick up our kids, and at the same time, pick up food; it’s very helpful. With your help, this can happen. So, there’s a lot of people like me, they need food, they need to eat, they have kids.”
