Volunteer of the Month: Nicole Gomez

Nicole Gomez is a senior at San Diego State University majoring in Foods & Nutrition. She began working with Feeding San Diego in September of 2017 as a nutrition intern, focusing on providing nutrition education to low income communities in San Diego. In that short amount of time she has been able to visit over 10 partners of Feeding San Diego and teach 3 “Healthy Cook” classes at the Alpha Projects “Alpha Square” location. Her positive can do attitude and willingness to collaborate with other interns has made her an invaluable asset to the programs department and the community
