Get Your Pickleball On
The Drew Brees Celebrity Pickleball Event, presented by JUSTIN Vineyards and Winery and hosted by NFL legend Drew Brees, is returning to bring together celebrities, athletes, chefs, and hunger-relief supporters for an afternoon of pickleball for a good cause. This year’s celebrity athlete players include former world-ranked tennis player James Blake, Hall of Fame NHL player Jeremy Roenick, and Drew Brees himself. Celebrity participants include Glenn Howerton, actor from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Sirens and co-founder of Four Walls Whiskey.
The Drew Brees Celebrity Pickleball Event will take place at the Barnes Tennis Center in Point Loma on Friday, September 12, from 11 to 3 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to pair with pros and celebrities or play for the title in the advanced-expert and intermediate-advanced categories. The tournament also offers fun, casual recreational play for those looking to enter the sport or a spectator ticket to eat, drink, and watch the action on the courts. Learn more and get your tickets.
