It helps me out a lot, it helps my roommates out a lot, so I can only imagine what it does for the entire student population.

“Coming to the pantry every week is a big thing. My parents are both immigrants, and it’s a big deal for them for me to be here at CSU San Marcos and for me to have moved out. The price increases on everything ever since the pandemic has been crazy for everyone living in the dorms. This is such a big deal for me to be able to come here and get free food. Programs like this should be more funded. It helps me out a lot, it helps my roommates out a lot, so I can only imagine what it does for the entire student population.”

— David, a student at California State University San Marcos
