Military Background and Education
Born into a military family, Bob Kamensky dedicated over 35 years to the U.S. Navy. His distinguished career was marked by leadership roles in strategic operations and a deep commitment to service. Kamensky holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering from West Coast University.
Naval Leadership
As Vice Commander of U.S. Submarine Forces, Kamensky oversaw 50 reserve commands and 2,000 personnel involved in global submarine operations. His extensive naval career spanned decades and took him around the world.


Transition to Corporate and Civilian Leadership
Following his military service, Kamensky transitioned seamlessly into the corporate world, holding leadership positions in various industries. He continued his dedication to public service through roles in the Navy Reserves and ultimately as a civilian leader within the Department of Navy. His exceptional service culminated in his promotion to U.S. Navy Flag Officer (Rear Admiral) and the establishment of a multinational command in Europe as Commander Submarine Forces NATO.
Focus on Education and Non-Profit Leadership
After retiring from the Navy, Kamensky shared his expertise by teaching organizational leadership at Point Loma Nazarene University and consulting for non-profit organizations. In 2021, he joined Feeding San Diego as Chief Strategy Officer, and in 2023, he assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer.
