April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month, a time to celebrate people doing extraordinary things through service. We want to take the opportunity to express our gratitude for the incredible support Feeding San Diego receives from individuals and groups all year long.

Last year, more than 13,000 volunteers joined the fight against hunger and provided the hourly equivalent of 25 full time staff members through Feeding San Diego. Volunteers help pack and sort food in our warehouse, provide administrative support in our offices, and support client services like nutrition education and outreach in the community.

We are so grateful for our volunteers and the incredible impact they make in our mission to end hunger.
