“I think it’s amazing what you guys are doing to help the community. We just moved here in August. So we moved from Idaho and my husband is injured medically, so he hasn’t been working for two months, so things have been challenging lately. It’s good to know that there are resources like this available because it does help, I think every little bit helps. Every dollar, every penny, it all adds up. Thank you very much for being thoughtful and generous.”

“We’re in the military, and we’re transitioning. We don’t have a refrigerator, we don’t have anything, so we just grocery shop every day. We transferred from Germany. I’m shocked at how expensive everything is. It’s just a different world. I would say thanks and keep up the good work. I think what they’re doing restores people’s hope and humanity.”

“I’ve lived in San Diego County all my life. I’m 63 years old. I work a little. I’ve definitely been impacted by inflation. Rent keeps going up. It’s hard to put gas in the tank. I have chronic kidney disease, and I had a stroke. Thankfully my wife has helped me tremendously. It’s challenging. Getting food here is a huge help. It’s maybe the equivalent of $70. I like the Sprouts sandwiches. To everyone who donates, I say thank you.”
