Tuesday, November 6th is Election Day! We know Election Day can be hectic, but with a little preparation, it’s easy! Have you made your plan to vote? Whether you vote in person, vote early, turn in your mail ballot, or aren’t sure if you’re registered, we’ve got the info you need!

POLL HOURS

Polls are open on Tuesday, November 6th from 7:00am to 8:00pm. If you’re in line by 8:00 pm, you can vote even though the polls are closed!

WHERE TO VOTE

Where are you voting? Don’t know your polling place? Look it up here! Link: https://www2.sdcounty.ca.gov/rov/Eng/polling.asp

Want to beat the crowds (and tell your friends you voted before them)? No problem! You can vote early at the Registrar of Voters Saturday or Sunday, November 3rd and 4th from 8:00am – 5:00pm, or on Monday, November 5th from 8:00am – 5:00pm. The Registrar of Voters is located at 5600 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123. You can read more about early voting from the San Diego County News Center.

VOTE BY MAIL

Do you vote by mail? Great! Did you know that as long as your ballot is postmarked on election day, and received within three days, you’re good to go?

Can’t find your stamps? Not a problem! Drop off your mail ballot at any polling location on Election Day or at one of the 59 libraries in San Diego.

MAKE SURE YOU’RE REGISTERED

Aren’t sure if you’re registered? Look it up here!

Not registered? Did you know that California has conditional voter registration? You can register to vote and cast a ballot at the Registrar of Voters at 5600 Overland Drive. That way, when the Registrar confirms your eligibility, your vote will be counted! Remember: same-day registration can only be done at the Registrar of Voters! Click here for more information!

No matter how, where, or for whom you vote, your voice matters! Have a great Election Day, and wear your “I VOTED” sticker proudly!
