Volunteer of the Month

In a short amount of time, Debra Bradshaw has stepped up as a leader amongst our food sorting volunteer shifts.  Since January 2017, she has donated more than 81 hours as a Team Leader volunteer at our distribution center.

Her enthusiasm, positive attitude and warmth helps us create a welcoming environment for our volunteers. Her management experience has also allowed her to thrive as a Team Leader, effortlessly directing others to help pack food for kid and families programs weekly.

Debra became a volunteer with Feeding San Diego so that she could give back to her community while also gain additional professional experience. She is eager to learn more about hunger-relief, operations and the processes that go into serving 63,000 individuals each week. We are so thankful for talented community members like Debra, that join us in our journey of taking kids and families from hunger to health.
