School Partners Prepare for New Year

This past winter, the Feeding Kids team hosted an annual School Partner meeting, bringing together more than 40 school partners from throughout San Diego County.  These school partners host BackPack programs, School Pantries and Kids Community Pantries.  The meeting offered school partners the chance to network, learn about new program updates for the upcoming school year and review best practices for hosting School Partner programs.

School Partners were asked to participate in a survey in which Feeding San Diego can measure program satisfaction from the perspective of the school contact.  The results indicated that 94 percent of the schools believe Feeding San Diego Kids Programs helps families “make ends meet” and 85 percent believe the programs help families create healthier meals at home.
