This December, Feeding San Diego passed another AIB International (American Institute of Baking) audit with flying colors, receiving a score of 960 out of 1,000!

A passing score of this audit is 700, making Feeding San Diego’s score soar over the requirements.  Feeding San Diego wants to serve our community as best as possible, not to simply just skid by the minimal standards.

AIB International a global premier food safety and hygiene organization that overlooks company’s production levels and standards. While this audit is not mandatory, Feeding San Diego wants to do everything possible to ensure the food going out to our community is safe.

Every year Feeding San Diego has participated in the audit, the score has increased. With that, there are always new requirements and more rigid guidelines to meet. We strive to always become better as an organization as we look after our community and try to provide the best food and resources possible.

It takes an entire team of hardworking staff members and volunteers to make this possible and we are proud to continue to serve our community as we close the meal gap in San Diego.
