Join the Movement to Build Economic Security This National Make-a-Will Month
This month is National Make-a-Will Month—but August is more than just about making your will. It’s about joining a movement that connects every person with the resources they need to secure their future. Just as Feeding San Diego is dedicated to connecting every person facing hunger with nutritious meals.
At Feeding San Diego, we acknowledge that hunger is all around us. Hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of life in San Diego County face food insecurity. As such, we want to offer our entire community from different backgrounds a holistic way to build economic security. That’s why we’re inviting you to write your will to join the movement and take care of yourself and your loved ones.
As you may know, we work efficiently. Our decentralized approach to food rescue allows us to coordinate with our local partners for food pick-up. This system maximizes our efforts to keep food fresher, speed up distribution, and serve more people facing hunger. In that spirit, we’re excited to share our partnership with FreeWill: a free online tool. FreeWill guides you through the process of creating a legally valid will and optional legacy gift in just 20 minutes.
Get Started
FreeWill’s secure platform has already helped more than 520,000 people complete their wills. This Make-A-Will Month, thousands more will take action. No matter the value or nature of your assets, a will empowers you to make important decisions on your terms. It also mobilizes your resources to provide safety and protection to the people, communities, and causes you value.
