We Are Now Feeding San Diego

After nine years of rapid growth, our board and leadership have conducted a thorough review of our organization’s strategic plan and mission. Our mission guides both what we do and how we do it: We are committed to a culture of responsibility and dignity and to leading our local community in the fight against hunger by efficiently providing access to food and nutritious meals. Feeding San Diego builds local and national partnerships with purpose.

As we continue to grow and work towards that mission, we want to affirm our focus on and commitment to serving San Diego County. With that goal, we are proud to announce that we have changed our name to Feeding San Diego.

We have always been a local, independent organization, but our name didn’t make that clear. We hope this new name will help everyone, from our current supporters and partners to future donors and volunteers, to understand who we are and who we serve.

We are honored to remain a part of the national Feeding America network as the only member serving San Diego County. To learn more about the Feeding America network, membership requirements and benefits, visit their website at feedingamerica.org.

Thank you for your commitment to building a hunger-free and healthy San Diego in partnership with Feeding San Diego.
