Every spring, San Diego’s top chefs come together with the best local beverages at Feeding San Diego’s Pairings with a Purpose.
In its fourth year, Pairings with a Purpose has become one of San Diego’s premier tasting events, set apart by pairing chef’s exclusive tastings with delicious local beverages. San Diego Magazine recently coined Pairings with a Purpose a “not-to-be missed event.”
Returning chefs include 2018 Pairings with a Purpose Judge Favorite winner Jason Knibb of NINE-TEN Restaurant and Bar, 2018 Crowd Favorite winner Barry Layne of Coast Catering, 2018 Most Creative winner Jason Gethin of Bankers Hill Bar & Restaurant, Top Chef season 7 alum Angelo Sosa of Death by Tequila, Christine Rivera of Galaxy Taco, Gunnar Planter of Viewpoint Brewery and Tommy the Fishmonger Gomes of Catalina Offshore Products with Karen Barnett of Small Bar.
We are thrilled to welcome some amazing new chefs, including Joe Leon Guerrero of Great Maple UTC, Paul Niles of Jake’s Del Mar, Joseph Serra of Buona Forchetta, David Becerra of Bang Bang, Luciela Garcia of El Nopalito and Laura Laughinbaugh of Duck Donuts.
