As a partner agency of Feeding San Diego, you are expected to know your rights and responsibilities when it comes to compliance with your agency agreement. As such, we take our responsibility to provide you with the resources you need very seriously. Please refer to this page for copies of the handbook, agreement and information about agency compliance.
FSD fights hunger locally by working hand-in-hand with partner agencies, local school districts, corporate partners and a network of volunteers to serve thousands of children, families and seniors in need each week. As a valued partner of FSD, we strive to provide you with all of the tools necessary to serve your community in an effective and dignified manner. Your agency handbook is just one tool that is available for you to reference throughout our partnership.
As a partner agency of FSD, partners agree to comply with all FSD policies and procedures as outlined in the current FSD Agency Capacity Handbook, including those policies and procedures outlined in the following agreement.
The agreement includes a requirement that all partner agencies “include Feeding San Diego in the organization’s branding methods by posting the Distribution Partner and/or Nutrition Partner sticker provided by FSD and Nutrition Posters provided by FSD, along with at least one of the below listed branding platforms (i.e.: ‘Partner of Feeding San Diego’)”:
- Facebook page
- Annual report
- Business cards
- Trucks/vehicles used by organization to pick up food from FSD
- FSD shirts
Select Agencies or Program Sites may distribute donated product obtained from, or enabled by, Feeding San Diego to other approved Agencies, Agency-Sponsored Programs or Member Programs if the following conditions are met. Please fill out the following agreement and return to FSD Programs Staff before redistributing for approval.
The last thing that we want to do is place an agency on hold; however, partner agencies are expected to comply with FSD standards as outlined in the agreement. A hold for any reason will affect an agencies ability to order online AND pick up from Food Rescue stores. If you have questions about this process, please contact the Agency Relations Team. A partner agency can be placed on hold if:
- Account balances are not paid within 90 days of invoice date
- Requested paperwork/food safety corrections are not submitted within 30 days of monitoring visit date
- Monthly reports are not completed and submitted for 3 consecutive months
