Greetings

From The Board Chair

Gwendolyn Meyer

Dear Friends,

Thank you for another year of serving San Diego together. We are humbled and grateful to you and the other remarkable individuals and organizations that do so much to feed our fellow San Diegans. Your gifts of time, food, funds and voice this year made it possible for us to provide 18.5 million meals to children, families and seniors facing hunger.

As I look back over the past year, I am honored to share our progress towards a hunger-free and healthy community. Driven by our mission, Feeding America San Diego seeks to continuously improve our hunger-relief efforts and serve our community with respect and dignity. Learning from those we serve and understanding their needs, we have improved programs, found new sources of food, added new distribution sites, bolstered support to underserved areas and improved operational efficiency.

And now, as we look ahead to the future, we are focused on increasing access to nutritious food and finding innovative ways to solve the issue of hunger. We look forward to building new partnerships and collaborations to continue serving our partners and clients with excellence.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment to hunger-relief.

With gratitude,

Gwendolyn Meyer
